She Awaits Her New Owner As Our Next Chapter Starts!
As the last load went to storage I took a few pictures of all 38′ of her majesty as she awaits her new owner. The Husband and I? Our next chapter starts NOW!! She looks pretty sharp sitting next to that shiny black truck. A pair to be sure and they have been good to us over the past 3 1/2 years. But things change, life moves forward and Little House will be waiting for us when August rolls around.

Yes, I’m totally excited about the opportunity to live in Little House but I’m also looking back over the memories of our last 3 1/2 years as full-timers. In spite of the times I swore a home on wheels was way more trouble than it was worth, there were lots of good times in that house.
Happy Memories With Family And Friends
Grandkids coming to hang out, having lunch with us all crammed around our tiny RV table. Then swimming in the RV park pool for a couple hours. Stepping over weekend guests and their belongings as the entire living room was filled once the air/hide-a-bed was pulled out.
Happy hours and barbecues with friends in AZ during the winter on the patio outside our RV. Various parks we’ve stayed in, some good, some not so good. All interesting. ME actually learning to tow this beast and getting comfortable towing it. Something I never thought would happen!
Our learning curve was pretty steep when we started our RV life. Many lessons have been learned. Hopefully we have been and will continue to be helpful to other travelers and RV’ers.
Feel free to continue contacting us with questions, suggestions, comments, answers, etc. More research is ahead as we consider our future travel and RV options. The Husband is already talking about what he might like for our next RV.
As The Husband talks about our future RV options, I remind him that we haven’t even gotten moved into Little House yet. July is our month of gypsy travel (euphemism for homeless).
July Means Our Address Is Homeless, WA State
As we housesit this week for family members I’m making reservations for our upcoming travels. First up is Donny and Marie Osmond live at Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Spokane, WA. Thank you to my awesome kids who gifted us these tickets!! They do know me well and know how much I love live shows!
The travel agenda will next take us to southwestern Oregon and the beach town of Florence. On the bucket list for our time in Florence? LOTS of beach time but also a new experience.. . sand rail rides through the dunes. Our adult kids and grandkids that have experienced this tell us it’s not to be missed. Pictures will follow I’m sure.On the bucket list for our time in Florence? Lots of beach time but also a new experience.. .… Click To Tweet
Beyond the time in Florence there are no firm plans. Some ideas of places and things we’d like to see are swirling around. Updates will follow when plans are more definite.
Thanks for following us in our adventures and please feel free to share our blog with your friends and family. Comments are welcome as we love hearing from all of you.
